Dates and Times:
10/9-10/16 8 PM-8 AM Temp case for 77 y/o female having surgery and will need a nurse to help with postop incision monitoring drain emptying bathing and comfort What You'll Do As a Skilled Nurse , you'll provide one-on-one, personalized care to a patient in the comfort of their own home. You'll be responsible for supporting all aspects of daily living and clinical needs with skill, compassion, and consistency . You'll be the trusted clinical presence that helps the patient maintain dignity, safety, and comfort—whether managing complex medical conditions or supporting mobility, hygiene, and nutrition. Your role goes beyond clinical tasks—you'll build a meaningful relationship, advocate for the patient's needs, and bring a sense of calm and confidence to every visit.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering skilled nursing care such as medication administration and patient assessments Proficiency in wound care techniques —including dressing changes, pressure injury prevention, and documentation—is required Providing full support with activities of daily living (ADLs) , including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance Monitoring patient progress and updating care plans in collaboration with physicians and care coordinators Documenting visits accurately using EMR system Communicating effectively with families, physicians, and internal teams to ensure continuity of care Supporting the patient emotionally and physically —bringing dignity, empathy, and professionalism to every interaction Maintaining a calm and respectful environment This is more than a job—it's a chance to make a lasting impact, one patient at a time.
