Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential nursing care to patients in various settings, including hospitals, home community care, and occupational health environments. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care while adhering to all relevant regulations and standards. Duties Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members. Perform venipuncture and other procedures as required for patient diagnostics. Offer infant care when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of young patients. Participate in sterile processing of medical instruments to maintain a clean and safe environment. Educate patients and their families about health management, treatment plans, and preventive care practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Skills Proficiency in managing medical records efficiently. Experience working in a hospital setting is preferred. Knowledge of infant care practices is an asset. Skilled in venipuncture techniques for blood draws. Familiarity with occupational health principles is beneficial. Competence in sterile processing protocols to prevent infections. Experience in providing home community care services is a plus. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Ability to phlebotomize effectively for laboratory testing. Knowledge of botulinum toxin treatment procedures is an advantage.
