2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join a long-term care team as a Wing Supervisor . Under the direction of the RN Supervisor, the LPN Wing Supervisor will provide direct nursing care, oversee nursing assistant activities, monitor resident conditions, administer medications and treatments, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure care is delivered in accordance with established nursing practices, facility policies, and applicable regulations. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents and assist with resident needs as required. Administer and document medications, treatments, glucose checks, and other ordered services. Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report significant changes to the RN Supervisor. Review and update resident care plans based on current condition and nursing needs. Supervise and direct Nursing Assistants to ensure the resident plan of care is followed appropriately. Monitor Nursing Assistant documentation for completeness and regulatory compliance. Assist with physician rounds, examinations, treatments, and clinical procedures. Collect and process laboratory specimens and ensure proper delivery with accurate documentation. Complete resident transfers, transfer documentation, and required notifications. Maintain accurate resident records, including vital signs, weights, care documentation, and incident reports. Complete monthly resident summaries and participate in care plan conferences as needed. Maintain accurate medication and narcotic counts according to facility procedures.
