Provides primary clinical support in a walk-in clinic, assisting in patient assessments, documenting medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaint, and vital signs. Assist providers with minor surgical procedures and diagnostic examinations. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. Administer medications, vaccines, and perform skin testing under provider supervision. Maintain cleanliness and readiness of examination and treatment rooms, ensuring asepsis and proper equipment setup. Facilitate effective communication with patients and providers, responding to questions and follow-up needs. Support diagnosis and treatment processes, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up of diagnostic tests.
Qualifications and Skills:
Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required). Ability to perform clinical duties, including specimen collection, medication administration, and patient preparation. Strong communication and organizational skills. Adherence to safety and aseptic protocols in a clinical environment.
