Role Overview:

The position involves providing patient care and surgical assistance in obstetrical and surgical settings, supporting the Obstetrical Surgery Team during procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with patient assessments, vital signs, and daily activities under RN supervision Preparing and operating surgical equipment, verifying surgical sites, and assisting during procedures Managing supplies, specimens, and maintaining sterile conditions Applying dressings, monitoring patient reactions, and documenting medical information Participating in admission, discharge, billing, and on-call duties Supporting cross-training in Women's and Children's units

Qualifications and Skills:

Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Nursing Obstetrics experience required Ability to scrub in OR, Nursery, and Postpartum settings Strong teamwork, communication, and adherence to safety protocols
