  • Staff Nurse, where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care.
Our facility provides Partial Care, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient (OP) substance use disorder treatment services. The LPN will work collaboratively with our medical, clinical, and support staff to help provide safe, organized, and high-quality care to our clients. Responsibilities Provide nursing services within the scope of LPN practice and facility policies. Obtain and document vital signs and other appropriate nursing observations. Assist with client health screenings and ongoing monitoring. Administer medications as ordered and permitted within scope of practice. Maintain accurate medication administration documentation and nursing records. Monitor clients for medication effectiveness, side effects, withdrawal symptoms, and changes in physical or behavioral condition. Promptly communicate significant changes or concerns to the appropriate medical provider or supervisor. Coordinate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, therapists, and other members of the treatment team. Assist with medication reconciliation and verification of client medications. Provide client education regarding medications, health needs, and treatment recommendations within scope of practice. Assist with obtaining, documenting, and coordinating laboratory testing and medical orders as applicable. Maintain infection prevention and standard precaution practices. Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and follow facility emergency procedures. Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with
HIPAA, 42 CFR
Part 2, and facility policies. Complete documentation accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR). Participate in staff meetings, required trainings, quality improvement activities, and ongoing competency requirements. Perform other nursing duties consistent with LPN scope of practice and assigned responsibilities.
Qualifications Required:
Current and unrestricted New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license . Current CPR/BLS certification. Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team. Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality. Comfortable working with individuals receiving treatment for substance use and behavioral health conditions.
Preferred:
Previous experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, psychiatry, detoxification, or another related healthcare setting. Experience using an electronic medical record system. Knowledge of substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and commonly used behavioral health medications.
Pay:
$29.00
