Job Description

Overview Department:
Med/Surg Shift:
Per Diem, 12 Hr - Variable Shift The Experienced LPN/LVN provides direct and indirect patient care services within the scope of nursing practice as defined by state requirements. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and in collaboration with the healthcare team, the LPN/LVN ensures patient safety, comfort, and quality care, enhancing the overall patient experience across various clinical units. Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality direct and indirect patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as allowed by state regulations and facility guidelines. Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to the RN or healthcare team. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient-centered care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and interventions. Promote a safe, therapeutic, and compassionate environment for patients and their families. Educate patients and families regarding care plans, treatments, and health maintenance. Adhere to infection control standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications Requirements:
Current and valid LPN/LVN state license. Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certificate and maintain current. Minimum of one year acute care and telemetry experience. IV Certification.
