Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients across various settings, including long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. Your expertise will support patient recovery, comfort, and well-being through comprehensive assessments, medication administration, and personalized care plans. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to safety protocols and medical documentation standards. Perform specialized procedures such as IV infusions, catheterization, wound suturing, and sterile dressing changes with precision. Assist with diagnostic evaluations including specimen collection/processing and supporting imaging procedures as needed. Provide specialized care for patients with complex conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or developmental disabilities. Manage acute pain through appropriate interventions and collaborate with healthcare teams on pain management strategies. Support discharge planning by educating patients and families on medication use, home care instructions, and follow-up appointments. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of all medical records. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate patient care plans effectively. Demonstrate proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for accurate documentation.
Must Haves:
Minimum 2 years of LVN/LPN experience 1 year of
EPIC EMR
experience required Experience with cardiac monitoring and emergency response Experience with Tele/PCU patient care Flu vaccination required; no facility exemptions
Certifications Required:
LPN State License (SC) BLS
- Required ACLS
Required NIHSS Shift:
Night 3x12-Hour (07:00pm- 07:30am) HC1
Pay:
$34.00
