Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students' health and well-being in a dynamic school setting. This onsite role offers the chance to work closely with a diverse student population, providing essential nursing care and contributing to a positive educational experience. With a set schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you'll collaborate with educators and other professionals to ensure students with varying health needs receive top-notch care throughout the academic year.
Qualifications:
Active South Carolina LPN license required Prior experience in a school environment preferred Ability to manage a caseload including both 1:1 student care and broader health support for multiple students Strong communication and organizational skills Compassion, adaptability, and a collaborative attitude
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized healthcare to students with a variety of medical diagnoses Monitor, document, and report on student health status and interventions Administer medications and perform nursing procedures in compliance with state guidelines and school policies Provide health education and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Respond effectively to health emergencies within the school setting Communicate with families and teachers regarding student care as needed
Position Highlights:
