Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in an engaging school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role is perfect for a Licensed Practical Nurse who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young adults. As the onsite school nurse, you will work closely with students who have a variety of health needs, from providing dedicated 1:1 care to offering general support across a diverse student population. This assignment runs from October 5, 2026, through May 28, 2027, and consists of 37.5 hours per week, providing you with an opportunity to establish meaningful connections and truly impact student well-being.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current, active South Carolina LPN license Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred Adaptable to support students with a wide range of health diagnoses Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to maintain composure and compassion in a dynamic environment Demonstrated commitment to student health and safetyKey Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 and general nursing care to students as directed Manage chronic and acute health conditions during school hours Administer medication and health treatments in compliance with school protocols Maintain accurate health records and documentation Collaborate with staff, students, and families to promote student health Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide first aid as neededWhy Youll Love This Assignment:
