Key Qualifications:

Active South Carolina PT license required (state participates in PT Compact) Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting strongly preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills Capacity to adapt services to a variety of student needs and grade levels

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver in-person physical therapy services to K-12 students as part of an engaging educational team Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans targeting student goals Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines Consult with educators and families to foster student participation and inclusion within the classroom setting Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide recommendations to optimize student support Provide ongoing education and training for school staff related to mobility, positioning, and therapy strategies
