Job Description

Join Our Team! Senior Care of Marion is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our long-term care team. We are committed to providing exceptional care and enhancing the quality of life for our residents in a supportive and rewarding environment. Position Summary The LPN/RN is responsible for providing direct nursing care, administering medications and treatments, monitoring resident health status, and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in accordance with facility policies and state regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians. Assess and monitor resident conditions and report changes appropriately. Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Develop and implement individualized care plans. Supervise and support CNAs and other nursing personnel. Respond to resident and family concerns in a professional manner. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement activities. Maintain infection control and safety standards.
Qualifications For LPN Applicants:
Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing. CPR certification required. Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
For RN Applicants:
Current Registered Nurse license in good standing. CPR certification required. Supervisory experience and long-term care experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong assessment and clinical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Commitment to resident-centered care.
