Description Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Are you a compassionate nurse who wants to make a meaningful impact every day? We are looking for dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a person-centered care environment. What You'll Do As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide quality nursing care and health support for individuals receiving services in residential and community-based settings.
Responsibilities Include:
Administer medications and treatments Monitor health conditions and report changes to clinical leadership Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medication records Support individualized healthcare and behavioral support plans Promote a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment Participate in interdisciplinary team collaboration Respond to medical emergencies as needed Reinforce infection control and basic healthcare practices with support staff. Requirements What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Active LPN license Graduate of an accredited LPN program Current BLS certification Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Experience Experience working with individuals with IDD/DD populations Long-term care or community-based nursing experience Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
