Full-Time Join Our Big Spring Nursing Team! South Plains Rural Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Big Spring clinic. We are looking for a nurse who enjoys patient-centered care, works well as part of a collaborative healthcare team, and is committed to serving our community. What You'll Do The LVN/RN works closely with providers and other clinical staff to coordinate and deliver quality patient care in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities may include:
Assess patients and obtain appropriate clinical information. Perform and document nursing care within the scope of licensure. Administer medications, injections, and treatments as ordered and permitted by licensure. Assist providers with examinations and procedures. Provide patient education and reinforce provider instructions. Review and respond to patient needs and clinical communications. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record. Coordinate care with providers and other members of the healthcare team. Follow infection control, medication safety, HIPAA, and organizational policies. Perform additional nursing responsibilities within the scope of LVN or RN licensure. Qualifications Current, unrestricted Texas LVN or RN license required. Current CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain as required. Previous outpatient, primary care, or clinical nursing experience preferred. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Electronic health record experience preferred. Why SPRHS?
