Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and versatile LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) / RN (Registered Nurse) to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. In this role, you will deliver high-quality patient care across various settings, including long-term care, assisted living, hospitals, and community health environments. Your expertise will help ensure patients receive attentive, personalized care while supporting facility operations and compliance. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs, and physical examinations to evaluate health status. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and catheter care following strict protocols and safety standards. Document medical records accurately using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth. Assist with diagnostic evaluations, specimen collection, and processing to support clinical decision-making. Manage airway care, ventilator support, and acute pain management for patients with complex needs. Provide specialized dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, and hospice support tailored to geriatric and disabled populations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management, triage, and patient education to optimize health outcomes. Qualifications Valid LVN or RN license in good standing; additional certifications in CPR/BLS required. Proven experience in critical care settings such as ICU or trauma centers; hospital medicine experience preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, infection control protocols, and medication administration. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in memory care environments is highly desirable. Ability to perform complex patient assessments and respond swiftly in urgent or emergency situations. Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver and client interactions within diverse healthcare teams.
