Job Description
Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will provide vital direct patient care, significantly contributing to patient well-being and recovery as an integral part of our compassionate healthcare team. Every day, you will assess patient conditions, administer medications, perform prescribed treatments, and meticulously document care. You will collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement individualized care plans, ensuring a seamless and high-quality patient experience. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient safety, and excellent communication. Your compassionate demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment are essential. Perform general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures. Obtain patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality. Obtain and documents health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors and assesses disease condition. Provide patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations. Execute prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administers prescribed medications, and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
