We're building a small, trusted team of 2-3 nurses for our incredibly sweet and social little girl in Leander, Texas. She is wheelchair-bound, has a G-tube used for medication, water, and additional calories when needed, and has epilepsy. We're looking for nurses who will be a great fit for our family — and especially for our daughter. Trustworthy and reliable is a must.

Hours:

Up to 80 hrs/week total, shared across 2-3 nurses. Includes day and night shifts. Daytime shifts will likely be on weekends, but could include some weekdays. We need flexibility and reliable weekend coverage.

Must-haves:

• Skilled in recognizing seizures and administering rescue medication if necessary
• Able to administer medication via G-tube
• Comfortable providing diapering and full personal care
• Wheelchair transfers, repositioning, and monitoring per care plan

Responsibilities:

• Skilled nursing care per care plan (day and overnight)
• Seizure monitoring and response per protocol
• G-tube meds, hydration, and feeds as prescribed
• Documentation and clear handoff between nurses and family
• Warm, patient, comforting presence

Qualifications:

• Active RN or LPN license in Texas
• Current CPR/BLS; pediatric special needs and epilepsy experience strongly preferred
• G-tube and rescue med experience required
• Reliable transportation, background check required

Pay:

Paid through Texas Medicaid — rate determined by Medicaid.
