Private Duty Skilled Nurse (LVN) - Vent/Trach Care Good Samaritan Home Health Agency is seeking a dependable and experienced LVN to provide private duty skilled nursing care for a patient in Red Oak, TX requiring ventilator and tracheostomy care . The patient is authorized for 65 hours of skilled nursing per week , providing an excellent opportunity for nurses seeking consistent hours. Multiple nurses may be hired to cover the schedule. Responsibilities Provide ventilator and tracheostomy care and monitoring Perform respiratory treatments/exercises every 4 hours as ordered Monitor respiratory status and respond appropriately to changes Provide catheter care and monitoring Administer medications and treatments as ordered Monitor vital signs and overall patient condition Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation Follow the physician-ordered plan of care and agency policies Communicate changes in condition promptly to the appropriate clinical staff Qualifications Current Texas LVN license Current CPR/BLS certification Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy patients strongly preferred Comfortable providing respiratory and catheter care Dependable, compassionate, and attentive to patient safety Home health or private duty nursing experience preferred Schedule Up to 65 hours per week available.
