Job Description
Looking for LVN's for all over Houston area
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in various settings, including homes, schools, and community centers
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimens for testing
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Assist with tube feeding and other specialized procedures as needed
- Educate patients and their families on proper care techniques and disease management
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients
Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in pediatrics and acute care settings
- Proficient in triage and assessment of patients' conditions
- Familiarity with Athenahealth or similar electronic medical record systems
- Ability to administer medications accurately and safely
- Skilled in phlebotomy techniques for blood collection
- Knowledge of tube feeding procedures and alimentation techniques
- Understanding of infection control practices to prevent the spread of diseases As a Field Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to patients in various settings.
