Scrubs Position Summary The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides patient care in an outpatient clinical setting under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor or Nurse Manager. This role is responsible for supporting providers, coordinating patient care, administering treatments, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities Obtain and document vital signs, patient histories, and assessments. Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and treatments within LVN scope of practice. Assist physicians and providers during exams and procedures. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. Document patient care accurately in

EPIC EMR.

Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and patient communications. Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies. Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines. Required Qualifications Graduate of an approved Vocational Nursing Program. Current, valid Texas LVN license. 4-8 years of clinical nursing experience. Preferred Qualifications

EPIC EMR

experience. Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems. Experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to safely operate clinical equipment and support patient care needs.
