Full Job Description Job Overview:

Elite Medical at Home is hiring and looking for dependable and competent nurses (LPN) to provide 1:1 quality care to pediatric and adolescent patients in the home setting! We have an immediate opening for a pediatric client located in the Arlington area. Paid training and refreshers provided for clinical skills. On site paid training and support. Flexible Hours

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient vital signs and observe for any changes in health status
• Provide wound care, including dressing changes and monitoring healing progress
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and mobility
• Educate patients and their families on proper self-care techniques
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Skills:

CVL flushing, weekly CVL dressing changes, G tube medication administration, enteral feeding Ostomy/stoma care, G Tube to gravity , urinary straight cath , post op/ post transplant monitoring, home safety and infection control.

Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license in VA
• CPR certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
