What skills and background will set you up for success? Active LPN/LVN license and eligibility to practice in the state. Recent experience in a pediatric, school, or similar setting is preferred. Proven ability to monitor and respond to seizures, including administering rescue medication and appropriate first aid. Strong commitment to student safety, confidentiality, and dignity. Compassionate demeanor and comfort working closely in a 1:1 environment, including riding the bus with your assigned student as needed. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and the school's interdisciplinary care team. Key responsibilities you'll take on: Providing vigilant seizure monitoring and immediate, skilled intervention as needed throughout the school day—including bus rides. Administering medication and maintaining accurate documentation of all health care activities. Actively collaborating with educators, parents, and the Clinical Advisory Team to ensure seamless care and communication.
