Full Job Description Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - PRN, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in patient care across diverse settings. As an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care tailored to individual needs while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and other treatments following established protocols and physician orders. Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection, laboratory processing, and medical imaging procedures. Manage airway care, catheterization, tube feeding, and ventilator support for patients requiring specialized interventions. Provide wound care, suture removal, sterile processing, and aseptic techniques to ensure optimal healing environments. Monitor patients' responses to treatments, manage acute pain and symptoms such as Alzheimer's or dementia-related behaviors, and escalate concerns appropriately. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA privacy standards and clinical confidentiality policies while documenting all patient interactions accurately in EMR/EHR systems. Experience Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with current state certification. Demonstrated experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, neonatal or neonatal ventilator care, and individuals with developmental disabilities or memory impairments. Prior hands-on experience in various healthcare settings such as hospitals (including ICU or Level I Trauma Center), skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, or home & community care environments. Proficiency in critical care procedures like airway management, IV insertion/infusion, catheter care, and cardiac monitoring preferred. Familiarity with

ICD-9/ICD-10

coding systems for accurate documentation; experience with EMR/EHR platforms such as Cerner or Athenahealth is highly desirable. Knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control practices, and acute or post-acute care protocols. Strong communication skills for effective caregiver collaboration and client interaction; experience working with individuals with disabilities or complex medical needs is a plus.
