Under the direction of the Resident Care Director, the Wellness Nurse will support the overall needs of the Wellness Department to ensure that Village Concepts operational and cultural standards are maintained. Schedule Full-Time, Tuesday-Saturday, 9AM - 5PM Pay & Benefits $38-$42 per hour, DOE. Ability to work in a team setting as well as function independently Ability to consistently exercise a high level of good judgment and both collaborative and independent decision-making ability in all aspects of the Wellness Department. Comfortable with both hands-on support of Wellness Department as well as with critical administrative Nursing functions. General Responsibilities Supports all aspects of the Medication Administration Program Support initial and on-going staff training Provides direct Nursing care and clinical support to residents. Complete resident assessments and monitor changes in health condition Coordinate, review, and update resident service plans Investigate and document findings and prevention plan for resident falls and Unusual Occurrences. Maintain ongoing highly effective communication with the resident, resident's family, and physician regarding the resident's medical, physical, and emotional needs Promote a safe, compassionate, and resident-focused environment May be called to serve as Manager on Duty of the Community in the absence of the Resident Care Director.
