Qualifications:
Active Washington LPN license in good standing with the Washington State Board of Nursing (WABON) Current CPR/BLS certification. Ability to meet Washington State background check and immunization requirements. Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.
Role Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides safe, effective nursing care in accordance with the Washington State Board of Nursing (WABON) scope of practice. The LPN delivers direct patient care, administers medications, monitors health status, and collaborates with RNs and interdisciplinary teams across long?term care, assisted living, clinics, and hospital settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Direct Nursing Care — Support patients with daily care needs, treatments, and routine nursing tasks. Medication Administration — Administer medications and treatments in accordance with WABON rules and facility policies. Patient Monitoring — Observe and document changes in patient condition; report promptly to supervising RN or provider. Wound Care — Perform wound care and dressing changes as delegated. Documentation — Maintain accurate, timely charting in compliance with Washington State standards. Care Coordination — Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, therapists, and families to support patient care plans. Follow infection control, safety protocols, and WABON ethical and professional standards.
