Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, you will deliver professional massage services, assess client needs, and contribute to a positive healing environment. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern. Educate clients on massage benefits, post-treatment care, and pain management strategies. Maintain detailed records of treatments administered and monitor client progress over time. Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of treatment rooms in accordance with health regulations. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals and provide personalized care that promotes relaxation and healing. Skills Extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and occupational health principles related to massage therapy. Proficiency in patient service delivery with strong customer service skills. Expertise in various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, and prenatal massage. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop effective treatment plans. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic practices. Experience working in med spa settings or similar environments is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent client communication skills with an empathetic approach to patient care.
