Overview Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Massage Therapist and bring relief, relaxation, and wellness to our diverse clientele. In this role, you will deliver expert massage therapy services that promote healing, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise in various massage techniques and thorough understanding of physiology will help clients feel rejuvenated and cared for in a professional, welcoming environment. Duties Perform a variety of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massages tailored to individual client needs Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and document progress accurately Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide personalized recommendations for pain management and wellness Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards Educate clients on self-care techniques and lifestyle adjustments to support ongoing wellness goals Keep detailed records of each session, including techniques used, client responses, and treatment outcomes Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements to enhance skills and certifications Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally in the jurisdiction Proven experience in massage therapy with knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management strategies Proficiency in various massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients Knowledge of patient assessment procedures to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required for safety compliance Ability to work professionally within a team environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene and client confidentiality Prior experience with occupational health or pain management is a plus but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly improve lives!
