Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mobile Massage Therapist to join our team. We cover Los Angeles, South Bay, North Orange County. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years experience, reliable car, possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with expertise in various massage techniques. This role involves providing therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them manage pain, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. The Massage Therapist will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment and delivering exceptional patient care. A face time interview and an in person practical will be required in Long Beach. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective massage therapy tailored to each client. Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies. Educate clients on self-care practices and the benefits of regular massage therapy. Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment for all clients. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy. Valid Insurance Coverage with ABMP or AMTA Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Experience in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy is preferred. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs effectively. Strong communication skills to provide clear instructions and education to clients. Ability to create a calming atmosphere that promotes relaxation and healing.
