Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop customized treatment plans. Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout sessions. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and proper equipment use. Stay updated on the latest massage therapy techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education. Educate clients on self-care practices and pain management strategies to support their ongoing wellness goals. Requirements Valid massage therapy license or certification in accordance with local regulations. Proven experience in various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health therapies. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient conditions and tailor treatments accordingly. Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically. Basic understanding of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal conditions and pain management. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required for safety compliance. Prior experience with patient assessment and pain management is highly desirable. Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and high standards of client care.
