Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled MLD Massage Therapist to join our vibrant Naturopathic Clinic team. In this role, you will deliver specialized Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) massage treatments that promote detoxification, reduce swelling, and support overall wellness. Your expertise will help clients achieve optimal health through personalized therapy sessions rooted in a holistic approach. Responsibilities Perform MLD massage techniques tailored to each client's individual health needs, emphasizing lymphatic system stimulation and detoxification. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safety during sessions. Utilize advanced massage modalities such as trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, sports massage, and prenatal massage to enhance therapeutic outcomes. Educate clients on post-treatment care, lifestyle adjustments, and self-care practices to maximize benefits. Maintain detailed treatment records, including patient progress notes and treatment outcomes, adhering to medical terminology standards. Collaborate with naturopathic doctors and healthcare professionals to develop integrated wellness strategies. Ensure a safe and welcoming environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including CPR certification requirements. Qualifications Proven experience in massage therapy with a focus on medical or therapeutic massage techniques such as trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, sports massage, or prenatal massage. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to lymphatic health and pain management. Demonstrated ability in patient service, client communication, and customer service skills to foster trust and rapport. Certification in massage therapy from an accredited program; additional certifications in occupational health or med spa treatments are a plus. Valid CPR certification; familiarity with medical safety standards is preferred. Experience with patient assessment techniques and pain management strategies to tailor treatments effectively. Knowledge of occupational health practices and experience working in a med spa or holistic health setting is advantageous. $37.19 - $44.79 per hour
