Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide professional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate massage modalities and develop customized treatment plans Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to support ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of client sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with privacy regulations Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain procedures, and foster a relaxing experience Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification credentials Proven experience in massage therapy, including Swedish massage, deep tissue work, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical terminology familiarity Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly CPR certification and understanding of occupational health standards are required for safety compliance Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients Prior experience working in med spas or clinical settings is preferred but not required Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple appointments efficiently Join us if you're eager to bring your passion for healing into a rewarding environment where client satisfaction and well-being are at the forefront.
