Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Female Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver a variety of therapeutic massage services designed to promote relaxation, relieve pain, and enhance overall well-being for diverse client needs. Your expertise will help clients achieve optimal health through personalized treatments, including specialized modalities such as prenatal, postnatal, sports, and medical massage techniques. As a vital part of our team, you will foster a welcoming environment that encourages healing and stress relief while adhering to the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, hot stone, Thai, shiatsu, acupressure, lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy, reflexology, myofascial release techniques, and specialized treatments for post-surgery or chronic pain patients. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health conditions and tailor massage plans accordingly. Provide specialized massage services for unique populations such as pregnant women (prenatal and postnatal massage), elderly clients, children, athletes, and individuals with stress-related conditions or recovery needs. Maintain detailed treatment records and ensure proper documentation of client progress and treatment plans. Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness. Uphold all safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Collaborate with other healthcare or wellness professionals when necessary to support comprehensive client care. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with demonstrated proficiency in multiple massage modalities listed above. Proven experience in providing diverse massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, Thai massage, Shiatsu, acupressure massage, lymphatic drainage massage, trigger point therapy, reflexology services, and hot stone massage. Experience working with special populations such as pregnant women (prenatal/postnatal), elderly clients, children, post-surgery patients, or athletes is highly desirable. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately assess client needs and develop effective treatment plans. Prior experience in med spa settings or wellness clinics is preferred but not required.
