At The Skin Care Academy of Florida, our Instructors play a vital role in shaping the student experience and bringing our mission to life. Working closely with the Program Manager and Campus Director, the Instructor helps ensure the school operates smoothly, meets state standards, and provides a supportive, uplifting environment for every student who walks through our doors. We believe our brand is our bond — a promise of care, professionalism, and genuine connection. As an Instructor, you are one of the most visible representatives of that promise. Your primary responsibility is guiding students through successful completion of the Massage Therapy program in a fun, interactive, and immersive way that makes learning enjoyable and meaningful. You'll collaborate with leadership to create engaging lesson plans and demonstrations that honor different learning styles, ages, and personalities. We are looking for someone who brings warmth, encouragement, and a nurturing presence to the classroom — someone who empowers students, celebrates their progress, and helps them feel confident and capable. Instructors are expected to prepare thoughtfully for each day, track student learning outcomes, maintain accurate records, and ensure students are fully prepared for the state board exam and their future careers. A strong understanding of Academy policies and a commitment to upholding them is essential. Job Allocation Classroom Management Create and deliver fun, interactive, and immersive lesson plans that align with the Academy's curriculum. Teach, demonstrate, and facilitate hands‑on learning experiences. Manage classroom time effectively while supporting students with diverse personalities, backgrounds, and learning needs. Inventory & Supplies Assist with inventory control by monitoring classroom supplies and notifying the Campus Director when items need replenishment. Plan ahead by anticipating supply needs based on upcoming lessons and activities. Clinic Coordination During clinic days, the Instructor may serve as Clinic Coordinator, helping students navigate real‑world client interactions.

Responsibilities include:

Answering phones and booking appointments Checking out clients and processing payments Selling retail products Supporting students with service protocols and client care Keeping the clinic running smoothly and on schedule Providing demonstrations and guidance as needed Detailed Responsibilities Uphold and model Academy brand standards in all interactions Answer phones, schedule clinical services, book student tours, and arrange admissions appointments Assist with front desk coverage and help maintain the retail boutique Lead classroom lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and hands‑on learning activities Demonstrate all practical skills according to school standards Track student academic progress, monitor metrics, and create supportive action plans when needed Collaborate closely with the Campus Director and Program Manager to enhance programs and strengthen student engagement Support students in completing coursework successfully and confidently Maintain accurate grading, attendance records, and performance metrics Create lesson plans, games, reviews, and other interactive learning tools Attend graduation ceremonies and celebrate student achievements Maintain a clean, organized classroom and clinic environment Assist the Campus Director with tasks related to promotions, classroom planning, business operations, and marketing initiatives Position Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms 2-3 years of professional experience under a valid licensure A naturally kind, big‑hearted, positive personality — someone who genuinely enjoys helping others grow and succeed Acknowledgment I have read and understand the job description above and acknowledge that I am able to perform all listed responsibilities.
