In this vital role, you will provide specialized massage therapy focused on post-operative recovery, lymphatic drainage, and overall patient well-being. Your expertise will help clients accelerate healing, reduce swelling, and improve their quality of life through targeted manual techniques. Duties Perform post-operative lymphatic drainage massage tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring safe and effective treatment protocols Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans Educate clients on post-op care, pain management strategies, and self-care practices to enhance recovery outcomes Utilize advanced massage modalities such as trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health techniques as needed Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and clinical observations in compliance with medical standards Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes Uphold strict sanitation and safety protocols, including CPR certification and adherence to medical terminology standards Experience Proven experience as a licensed massage therapist with a focus on post-operative or lymphatic drainage therapy Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to lymphatic and muscular systems Prior experience working in med spas or clinical settings specializing in pain management or rehabilitation is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients about treatment plans and progress updates Familiarity with trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health practices Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in medical massage techniques are a plus Knowledge of patient assessment procedures and customer service skills that foster trust and comfort Join us to help patients recover confidently through expert manual therapy!
