About Us We're a full-service salon and spa dedicated to providing our clients with a relaxing, rejuvenating experience in a welcoming coastal setting. We pride ourselves on quality service, a supportive team environment, and building long-term client relationships. Duties Provide a wide range of massage therapies including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge and client health history Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and ensure comfort throughout each session Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and any relevant medical terminology for accurate documentation Stay current with occupational health standards and best practices in pain management to deliver safe and effective therapies Promote client retention by delivering outstanding patient service and fostering positive client communication Adhere to all safety protocols including CPR certification requirements and proper sanitation procedures Qualifications Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and other modalities Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology essential for effective patient assessment and treatment planning Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices Valid certification or license as required by local regulations; CPR certification is mandatory Demonstrated pain management experience and familiarity with occupational health considerations are highly valued Join us at Gulf Salon & Spa where your skills will help clients achieve their wellness goals while advancing your career in a vibrant, supportive environment.
