The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a deep understanding of human anatomy and physiology. This role involves providing therapeutic massage services to clients, focusing on pain management, relaxation, and overall wellness. The Massage Therapist will work closely with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their health history to tailor massage treatments accordingly. Provide a range of massage therapies, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation techniques. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively address client concerns related to pain management and occupational health. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Document client progress and treatment plans accurately in accordance with medical terminology standards. Foster positive relationships with clients through excellent customer service and patient care. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques. Skills Proficient in pain management techniques and understanding of various massage modalities. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Exceptional patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs. Experience in a med spa or similar environment is a plus. Excellent customer service skills, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all clients. Ability to perform deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy effectively. Understanding of occupational health principles related to massage therapy.
