Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise in various massage techniques and thorough understanding of human physiology will help clients achieve their health and relaxation goals. Duties Provide a variety of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to each client's needs Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safe practice Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide personalized recommendations Maintain detailed records of client sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with privacy regulations Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend follow-up treatments or referrals as necessary Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic policies Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements such as CPR certification Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in massage therapy Proven experience in providing diverse massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical or occupational health treatments Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly Prior experience working in medical spas or similar healthcare settings is highly preferred Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management and injury rehabilitation is advantageous Excellent client communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse patient populations Knowledge of occupational health practices related to workplace wellness programs is a plus Join us in delivering healing touch that transforms lives! Pay:
$32.22 - $38.80 per hour
