Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. This is a commission-only position . In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. This clinic will split appointment revenue with the practitioner at a 60/40 rate. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Educate clients on massage benefits, post-treatment care, and self-care strategies to enhance results. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment plans and client progress notes. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to sanitation standards and professional protocols. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns or questions. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Experience Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist from an accredited licensing board. Proven experience in providing diverse massage therapies such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Experience working with clients experiencing pain management issues or recovering from injuries. Familiarity with medical terminology related to musculoskeletal conditions and occupational health. Prior experience in med spa settings or wellness clinics is highly desirable for this role.
