Job Description
Job Overview Seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to provide services at an upscale, freestanding Day Spa/Nail Salon located in historic Gainesville, GA since 2008. In this role, you will deliver massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our clientele. Apply your skills in an aesthetically pleasing setting dedicated to health, healing, and customer satisfaction. This is a 1099 Contract Position that pays on a commission basis, offers flexible hours and provides a great opportunity to build repeat massage clients from a loyal base of established Day Spa customers that visit regularly for personal care treatments. Hourly Pay Rate range listed elsewhere in this Job Posting are based on the Commission Paid for a 1-Hour Swedish, Deep Tissue or Hot Stone Massage. Responsibilities Provide a variety of Body Massage techniques, primarily Swedish , Deep Tissue or Hot Stone Massage (either individually or as a couples massage). Clients regularly request Chair or Hand/Shoulder Massage . Requested less often are Prenatal, Sports, or All-Tape Massage and Reflexology. Conduct thorough patient assessments. Communicate clearly with clients about their goals, comfort levels, and any medical concerns or contraindications. Uphold the highest standards of patient service by creating a welcoming environment and ensuring client comfort throughout each session. Adhere strictly to safety protocols. Requirements Valid Georgia license as a Massage Therapist. Insurance Coverage mandated by the Georgia State Board of Massage Therapy. Proven experience in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques for relaxation and pain management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and provide personalized care.
