Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs effectively. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop personalized treatment plans. Educate clients on pain management strategies and recommend appropriate therapies or self-care routines. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations, including occupational health standards. Provide excellent customer service by listening attentively, answering questions, and fostering a positive experience for every client. Collaborate with other BodySense employees during BodySense events. Experience in lymphatic drainage massages is a plus Requirements Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state or regional regulations. Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and applying advanced massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Familiarity with pain management principles and techniques tailored to individual client needs. Prior experience working in a spa is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Weekend availability.
