Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Develop customized treatment plans based on client goals and physiological knowledge to optimize results. Maintain clear communication with clients throughout sessions to ensure comfort and address any concerns or preferences. Educate clients on self-care practices, post-treatment recommendations, and injury prevention strategies. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification. Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue techniques, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients. Prior experience working in med spa or occupational health settings is preferred. Ability to assess client needs accurately and adapt treatments accordingly for optimal outcomes.
