We already have a large patient base who would love a massage therapist that understands spinal deformities and how to throughly meet their needs. Scoliosis is our specialty and we would love to train and educate the right massage therapist to serve this unique population. This will be a position that will grow with time, and we have no doubts that it will turn into a full-time position for the right therapist. If your growth potential is flexible (beginning part-time/per client paid basis, and growing from there,) let us know and we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including but not limited to deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address specific client concerns effectively. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to enhance patient care. Experience Proven experience as a Massage Therapist in a clinical or med spa setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment techniques. Familiarity with occupational health practices is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Certification in massage therapy from an accredited institution is required.
