Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Massage Therapist and bring relaxation, relief, and wellness to our diverse clientele! In this role, you will deliver professional massage therapy services tailored to individual needs, fostering a calming environment that promotes healing and stress reduction. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals, whether they seek pain relief, improved mobility, or simply a moment of tranquility. This position offers flexible hours perfect for those passionate about promoting wellness and enhancing client satisfaction through expert touch and personalized care. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Customize massage sessions based on client feedback and physiological knowledge to optimize results. Maintain clear communication with clients about their treatment plans, progress, and post-session care instructions. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment properly. Keep detailed records of each session, including techniques used and client responses for future reference. Stay updated on the latest massage therapy practices, medical terminology, and industry standards through ongoing education. Skills Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills that create a welcoming atmosphere. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques to effectively address diverse client concerns. Expertise in various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Ability to assess patient needs accurately through patient assessment techniques and medical terminology understanding. Exceptional client communication skills to explain procedures clearly and build lasting relationships. CPR certification and familiarity with medical safety standards to ensure client well-being during sessions.
