Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop customized treatment plans. Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to support ongoing wellness. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments provided, client progress, and relevant medical information in compliance with health regulations. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols at all times. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and address questions or discomforts. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and certifications such as CPR to continually enhance your skills. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills that foster trust and rapport. Ability to perform various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Skilled in client communication to assess needs accurately and recommend appropriate therapies. Experience with medical documentation standards and maintaining detailed treatment records. Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in med spa services or occupational health are a plus.
