Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions using techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop customized treatment plans Educate clients on the benefits of different massage therapies and recommend appropriate treatments for pain management, occupational health, or relaxation purposes Maintain detailed records of client sessions, including treatment notes and progress reports in compliance with privacy regulations Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety standards, including CPR certification and proper sanitation practices Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals, address concerns, and provide exceptional customer service throughout each session Stay current with industry trends and continuing education to enhance skills in physiology knowledge, anatomy, medical terminology, and new massage techniques Skills Proven expertise in various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massage Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management strategies to inform effective treatments Experience with patient assessment techniques to identify specific needs and tailor therapy accordingly Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in med spa procedures or advanced massage techniques are a plus Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple client appointments efficiently Prior experience in sports medicine or med spa environments is advantageous Join us to deliver transformative wellness experiences that help clients feel their best!
