Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, symptoms, and specific concerns Communicate clearly with clients about treatment options, expectations, and aftercare instructions to ensure a comfortable experience Maintain detailed records of each session, noting techniques used and client progress for ongoing care Stay informed about current massage therapy practices, physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and pain management strategies to provide effective treatments Ensure all safety protocols are followed by maintaining certifications such as CPR and adhering to sanitation standards Promote excellent patient service by creating a welcoming environment that encourages client loyalty and satisfaction Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist with comprehensive knowledge of massage therapy techniques and anatomy Experience with various massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage treatments Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and occupational health principles relevant to therapeutic massage Prior experience in med spa settings or wellness clinics is preferred but not required Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and recommend appropriate therapies Knowledge of medical terminology and pain management practices to enhance treatment effectiveness Certifications in CPR and first aid are required to ensure client safety during sessions Join our team where your skills will help clients feel revitalized and achieve better health.
