Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs, including evaluating physiology and anatomy to customize treatments effectively. Communicate clearly with clients to explain treatment plans, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment details, and medical history in compliance with healthcare standards. Adhere to all safety protocols including CPR certification and proper sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Educate clients on self-care routines and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness outside of sessions. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and provide exceptional care. Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate effectively. Demonstrated customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor that fosters trust and rapport. Experience in pain management techniques and understanding of injury prevention strategies. Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism.
