Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Educate clients on post-treatment care, self-care routines, and injury prevention strategies. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment notes and client progress reports. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and safety standards. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized care that enhances their overall experience. Stay updated on the latest massage techniques, physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and industry best practices through ongoing education. Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients. Proficiency in various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments. Knowledge of pain management techniques and occupational health considerations. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop tailored treatment plans. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required for safety compliance. Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to enhancing client satisfaction and well-being.
