Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Provide professional and therapeutic massage treatments to clients
• Assess clients' needs and create customized treatment plans
• Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
• Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and provide recommendations for at-home care
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols

Requirements:

• Valid state license or certification as a Massage Therapist
• Proven experience in performing therapeutic massage treatments
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assess patients' conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Knowledge of occupational health and acute pain management techniques

Skills:

• Patient service: Ability to provide exceptional customer service and create a comfortable and welcoming environment for clients
• Trigger point therapy: Proficiency in identifying trigger points and applying targeted pressure to alleviate pain and tension
• Deep tissue massage: Skill in performing deep tissue techniques to release muscle tension and promote relaxation
• Physiology knowledge: Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and how the body responds to different massage techniques
• Occupational health: Knowledge of occupational health principles and the ability to address work-related musculoskeletal issues
• Acute pain management: Ability to provide relief for acute pain conditions through appropriate massage techniques
• Patient assessment: Skill in assessing clients' needs, identifying areas of concern, and developing personalized treatment plans
• Medical terminology: Familiarity with medical terminology related to musculoskeletal conditions and massage therapy practices
