The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of various massage techniques, trigger point therapy, and sports massage. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, you will deliver personalized treatments that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. JOB DUTIES

Patient Assessment:

Review medical history, discuss symptoms, and identify tense or painful areas before starting. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and document progress accurately.

Soft Tissue Manipulation:

Apply targeted pressure using hands, fingers, forearms, and elbows to improve circulation and loosen tight muscles.

Patient Education:

Suggest post-massage stretches, strengthening exercises, and posture habits to maintain the physical benefits. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend suitable therapies for ongoing wellness.

Record Keeping:

Document client progress, treatments performed, and session responses.

Workspace Maintenance:

Sanitize equipment, change linens, and keep the environment clean and calming. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment area in compliance with health and safety standards.

Patient Communication:

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and ensure a comfortable experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance skills. Effectively collaborate with providers for integrated care solutions. Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with certification to perform various massage modalities. Proven experience in providing diverse massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and sports massage. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to ensure safe treatment application. Prior experience working in medical offices or occupational health settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with patient assessment techniques and pain management strategies. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. CPR certification is required to ensure safety during treatments.
